The Position: We are looking for a Full-time Lawn Care Technician.
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to enter information into a customer management system (CMS).
  • Knowledge of turf/plant care.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry.
Required Education: High School Diploma.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records and licensing.
  • Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product.
  • Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean, and mechanical conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of chemical usage per all federal, state, and local laws, and rules. and regulations.
  • Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (weather conditions, public exposure, and environmental considerations).
  • Abide by all safety procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Be able to read and interpret.
  • Maintain accurate records of chemical usage according to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Keep MSDS books current.
  • Manage inventory and usage of applications, pesticides, and fertilizers.
