Job description

Law Enforcement Assessment Specialist
K2 Group is seeking a Law Enforcement Assessment Specialistin support of Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Provost Marshal/Protection Support Services (PM/PSS). IMCOM PM/PSS is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of its installations through robust protection plans in the areas of risk management, antiterrorism, physical security, and emergency management, culminating in up to 29 assessments annually.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the law enforcement portion of Higher Headquarters Assessments (HHAs) at assigned global Army installations, executing up to 29 assessments (averaging 20) per year.
  • Audit installation police operations, Provost Marshal plans, and law enforcement programs against DoW, COCOM, and Service Component standards.
  • Analyze how law enforcement operations intersect with and support adjacent protection domains, including Physical Security, Antiterrorism, Emergency Management, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Critical Infrastructure Protection.
  • Pinpoint operational gaps in installation law enforcement posture, desk operations, response times, and mutual aid agreements, providing data-driven compliance findings.
  • Author comprehensive technical reports, executive briefings, and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) designed to measurably enhance installation policing and response capabilities.
  • Deliver clear, mission-relevant briefings regarding law enforcement readiness and vulnerability trends to installation command staff and higher headquarters.
Requirements
  • 10-12 years Military Police/Security Forces experience.
  • Proven track record supervising Military Police/Security Forces plans, desk operations, or patrol tactics at the installation or command level.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of DoW law enforcement protocols, law enforcement reporting systems, and force protection conditions (FPCON).
  • Hands-on experience executing Protection Program compliance assessments, Inspector General (IG) evaluations, or formal command inspections.
