What You'll Do
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a critical role in helping clients navigate complex immigration matters while working alongside a collaborative and mission-driven legal team.
You will:
- Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the BIA
- Manage a diverse caseload including family-based petitions, VAWA, U Visas, T Visas, asylum matters, and removal defense cases
- Prepare and file petitions, motions, briefs, legal arguments, and supporting evidence
- Develop winning case strategies with attorneys and legal support teams
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex immigration issues
- Advocate passionately for clients while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards
- Build trusted relationships with clients during some of the most important moments of their lives
What You Bring
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience
- Experience handling humanitarian immigration matters and removal defense strongly preferred
- Outstanding legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Strong client communication and relationship management abilities
- Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with accuracy, urgency, and accountability
- Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, or other multilingual capabilities are highly valued
