SUMMARY OVERVIEW 

The Lavatory & Water Agent is responsible for servicing aircraft lavatory and potable water systems in accordance with airline, safety, and environmental regulations. This role operates specialized equipment to empty, flush, and refill aircraft systems while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The Lavatory & Water Agent plays a critical role in ensuring aircraft readiness, sanitation compliance, and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Service aircraft lavatory and potable water systems in accordance with airline and regulatory requirements 
  • Safely operate lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush, and refill aircraft systems 
  • Follow all safety procedures related to blood-borne pathogens and universal precaution controls 
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including face shields and hearing protection 
  • Execute daily quality control checks on servicing equipment 
  • Maintain equipment in clean, safe, and functional condition 
  • Follow all local environmental procedures when emptying waste trucks in designated disposal areas 
  • Ensure compliance with PrimeFlight safety standards and environmental regulations 
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and reliability 
  • Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards 
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather 
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals 
  • Utilize basic computer applications and perform data entry tasks as required 
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, and oral communication skills 
  • Apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form 
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to coach, train, supervise and motivate a team of lavatory & water agents 
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
