Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterology physician to join our team in London, Kentucky.


This is an exceptional opportunity to practice General Gastroenterology in a supportive, patient-centered environment with a collaborative medical community, access to advanced technology, four endoscopy suites, and the ability to shape your own practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Practice Highlights:

  • G.I. group currently consists of 4 MD's, 5 APRNs , CMA's and support staff
  • Four endoscopy suites
  • Minimal call
  • Be as busy as you want to be early; existing patient panel and large referral base
  • High earning potential!

Offer Includes:

  • Competitive salary guarantee for up to 3 years and a lucrative production model after guarantee period.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program in the United States or Canada
  • Successful completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program in the United States or Canada
  • Board certification or active participation in the board examination process
  • Open to new graduates
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
  • DEA license or eligibility
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
  • Interest in serving the needs of patients throughout London, Laurel County, southeastern Kentucky, and the broader CHI Saint Joseph Health service area

CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group - Gastroenterology in London provides expert digestive health care using advanced, minimally invasive procedures. The team offers colon cancer screening, specialized ultrasound imaging to diagnose and treat digestive conditions, removal of precancerous growths, and care for conditions such as Barrett's esophagus.


The London gastroenterology practice is located at 1025 Saint Joseph Lane, 2nd Floor, London, Kentucky, and is connected to the broader CHI Saint Joseph Health network serving Central and Eastern Kentucky.
