Laundry Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at Nexus of Alton in Alton, IL. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that patient laundry is processed and distributed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, dry, and fold patient laundry in accordance with established procedures

  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

  • Ensure that all laundry is properly sorted, labeled, and stored

  • Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines

  • Fold and package laundry in a timely and efficient manner

  • Maintain accurate records of laundry processed, including tracking and reporting any issues or concerns

  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
