Summary: This role entails folding large amounts of linens, putting dirty linens in washers, dryers, then folding in a timely and professional manner. At times, providing customers with the best possible laundry experience, interacting with and assisting them with their needs, processing Wash/Dry/Fold orders following company procedures. The duties of a laundry attendant involve ensuring that customers' laundry needs are taken care of efficiently and effectively in a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

The Laundry Service Associate performs various duties and tasks to provide quality customer assistance over the phone or in person. General responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist customers based on each customer's needs, requests, and questions.

  • Stay on task with washing, drying, and folding laundry at hand; learn how to process laundry in a quick, effective, and professional manner.
  • Ensure a pleasant, smooth, and efficient laundromat process for each customer.

  • Offer customers assistance as needed with machine selection and operation.

  • Promote laundry services.

  • Work on behalf of the customer and the company to resolve issues fairly and equitably to ensure continued customer loyalty.

  • Perform closing procedures according to company procedures.

  • Perform wash, dry, and fold service according to company procedures.

  • Perform cleaning duties according to company procedures.

  • Work with other employees to achieve assigned tasks and business goals.

  • Communicate immediate laundromat needs or issues to the supervisor.

  • Assist in facility maintenance, organization, and cleaning.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all company matters. (No Gossip)


Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable, and reliable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge and skill required.
