The Laundry Attendant supports a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, families and team members. This role ensures linens and resident clothing are properly cleaned, handled and maintained in alignment with Sunrise quality and safety standards.
What You'll Do:
โ€ข Collect, sort, wash, dry and redistribute resident clothing and community linens
โ€ข Fold, count and properly store clean linens following approved procedures
โ€ข Inspect linens for wear and follow processes for damaged items
โ€ข Maintain clean, organized and sanitary laundry rooms
โ€ข Transport clean and soiled linens to appropriate storage areas
โ€ข Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs to supervisor
โ€ข Support resident requests and assist with resident care when needed
โ€ข Follow infection control, OSHA and Sunrise safety standards
โ€ข Safely store chemicals and maintain clear, hazard-free work areas
โ€ข Participate in fire drills, in-services and team meetings
