Job Description

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents' clothing and linens. You will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding various types of fabrics with precision and care. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to our residents' satisfaction and confidence in our services.

Responsibilities

  • Must be willing to work in both Laundry and Housekeeping.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers and label machine effectively and safely.
  • Monitor the laundering process to ensure proper washing, drying, and lableing  techniques are followed.
  • Inspect items for stains, damage, or needed repairs; report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that cleaning agents and supplies are stored appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment by following maintenance and cleaning schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to laundry care.
  • Able to clean common area, restrooms, empty  and clean trash rooms, Dry mop/wet mop floor, Run floor machine.
  • Clean dining room, 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping 
  • Knowledge of different fabric types and their care requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry items.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ Lbs in both housekeeping and laundry
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
