Job description

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Triage Program - Box Butte.

References must be from 2 different places of employment within the past 3 years.

Required Skills / Experience: Previous experience working in Critical Access Hospital

Unit Details: Charge RN role. Patient population includes COPD exacerbation, CHF, swing-bed patients, amputations, wound care, long-term antibiotics, and some postpartum and pediatric patients. Uses central telemetry monitoring, portable telemetry monitors, and Alaris pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers are added to the schedule after BBGH staff complete self-scheduling. Overtime starts after 40 hours. Call-off policy: 3 occurrences per 13 weeks. Orientation: 12 hours. Orientation is held every Wednesday and consists of three days of classroom orientation and one preceptor shift.

Floating Requirements: May float to ED as a task nurse only.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required
