Lasers can remove unwanted hair, reduce wrinkles, treat acne scars, remove tattoos, and address other skin irregularities. In medical settings, lasers are also used in eye surgeries and to treat certain cancers. The procedure is typically minimally invasive and can offer precise results with shorter recovery times compared to traditional surgery. The effectiveness and safety of laser treatments depend on the type of laser used and the experience of the provider.
