Job Overview:

Pay: $22.00-$35.00(1st & 2nd Shift)
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. The ideal candidate has experience in CNC operations, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications

  • Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts

  • Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy

  • Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

  • Monitor part quality and ensure all components meet specifications

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant workspace

  • Follow all company safety procedures and production standards

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines

  • Experience with Trumpf CNC equipment preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
