POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Laser Operator for is responsible for the daily operation of the laser machines including moving necessary materials to and from the machine.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:.

  • Performs quality checks
  • Complete inspection reports for jobs ran on machine.
  • Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blue prints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.
  • Performs typical laser operations.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues
