Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating a laser
  • Loading and unloading material and changing tooling
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements
  • Corrects any safety issues prior to performing operations
  • Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications
  • Resolves quality and mechanical problems, making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed
  • Prioritizes production to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Maximizes machine run time and productivity
  • Maintains machine and tooling
  • Replace nozzles and lens as required to ensure safe machine operation
  • Work from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations
