Now hiring a 1st shift receiving clerk-

Receiving Clerk Summary:


The Receiving Clerk receives, inspects deliveries for the company, assists in loading and unloading trucks. Verifies the contents and amount against the delivery/pack slip. Properly tags all received materials, stores, and delivers to the appropriate personnel. Notifies appropriate personnel of shortages, damaged or incorrect materials received. Maintains records, files and inputs data of all materials received, handles routine correspondence and notification of incoming materials. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to cleanliness of the receiving area and the other areas of the warehouse, forklift operation and assisting in other areas of warehouse operation as needed.

Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Receives all deliveries
  • Inspects and verifies contents of received materials
  • Performs clerical duties associated with receiving
  • Stores and delivers materials and packages
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Prepares bulk materials for shipment
