ABOUT THE ROLE
The Large Format Production Lead helps keep production running smoothly by supporting the daily workflow of jobs moving through the Large Format department. Working closely with the Large Format Department Manager, this role helps coordinate priorities, schedules, due dates, and production handoffs from prepress through packing.
In this role, you'll support production teams across printing, laminating, and cutting by ensuring they have the information, materials, and resources needed to complete work efficiently and on schedule. You'll also help monitor workflow, communicate schedule updates, and escalate production conflicts or capacity concerns when needed.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential to helping the department deliver high-quality work on time and provide an excellent customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates job execution and daily workflow on the production floor, helping align priorities and smooth handoffs between printing, laminating, cutting, prepress, and packing.
  • Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a consistent on-floor presence to support production staff and maintain throughput.
  • Ensures production staff in printing, laminating, and cutting have what they need to execute daily work (e.g., job tickets/specs, files, materials, tools, and clear priorities); flags issues and constraints to the Large Format Department Manager.
  • Assists with training by sharing process knowledge and best practices; may provide hands-on guidance on equipment workflow and job requirements.
  • Supports adherence to safety, quality, and company policies by modeling expectations, helping answer process questions, and promptly escalating concerns to the Large Format Department Manager and/or Human Resources.
  • Performs production duties within the department and provides operational coverage as needed.
  • Incorporates DCG ONE's vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors.
  • Ensures that production practices comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least two (2) years of related experience in large format production operations, with demonstrated ability to coordinate workflow, prioritize work, and support teams in meeting schedules and quality standards.
  • High level of knowledge as it pertains to the multiple production, printing, and paper finishing processes/capabilities.
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
  • May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
