Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Large Format Printer / Production Operator to join our team. This position involves operating large format printers and cutters, laminating prints, preparing files for production, and helping maintain quality control throughout the production process.

Experience in the sign industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Operate large format printers, laminators, and vinyl cutters
  • Load media and monitor print quality during production
  • Weed, trim, laminate, and prepare graphics for installation or pickup
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance
  • Read and follow work orders accurately
  • Maintain an organized and clean production area
  • Assist with material handling and general shop tasks
  • Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with large format printers such as Roland, HP, Canon, Epson, etc.
  • Familiarity with vinyl cutters such as Graphtec or Summa
  • Experience laminating prints and mounting graphics
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Onyx RIP software
  • Experience in a sign shop, print shop, or graphics environment preferred

Qualifications

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to lift rolls of media and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
