Essential Functions:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Essential Work Functions:

· Prepare and maintain print media, including loading materials and ensuring proper alignment.

· Operate large format finishing equipment, such as laminators, cutters, and trimmers.

· Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

· Troubleshoot minor issues with printing equipment and assist in routine maintenance.

· Handle pre-press tasks, including organizing files, checking for quality and accuracy, and ensuring files are print-ready.

· Organize and manage the print queue to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.

· Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

· Maintain inventory of printing supplies.

Requirements:

What you will bring to UCS:

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or graphic design Knowledge software’s is a plus.

· Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred but not required.

· Familiarity with large format printing processes and equipment is an advantage.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

· Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. materials and stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motions.

· Basic knowledge of file preparation software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is required.


Work Environment
· This position may require working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

· Some manual labor, including lifting and moving materials up to 50lbs with assistance, is required.
