Job description

We are seeking a sign maker / sign installer who is:

e. Has knowledge of design and willingness to learn (definite advantage)

You will be responsible for producing, assembling, and installaing custom signs and vehicle graphics. This is a production role with some installation responsibility. The role will include preparing materials, ensuring high quality in the production of signs and graphics, meeting client needs, attracting new business and performing minor installs. The successful candidate will be expected to work odd hours to meet design timelines.

Minimum job duties and position requirements

· Sign production and installation

· Assist in maintaining company signage equipment.

· Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

· 5+ years in a sign manufacturing – production and installation

· Lamination of variety of substrates

· Sign Installation

· Accurate measurements and related calculations

· Large format digital printing

· Color management and matching

· Use of RIP software to direct printing and cutting.

· Utilizing plotter/cutter for precision cutting

· Design using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

· Mentoring team members

· Accurate spelling and grammar

· Experience with CNC and Laser cutting machine operation is a definite advantage.

· Experience with sales and handling customers is an advantage.
