Job Description

Responsible for the daily cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of the Large Animal Clinic, its facilities and grounds. Assists in receiving supplies of animal feeds, hay, straw, and wood shavings. Insures a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and hospital staff at all times. Assists with animal handling and restraint when necessary.

Required Qualifications

Experience in general large animal husbandry duties; experience cleaning and maintaining animal facilities; experience working with, handling and restraining various species of large animals; must be able to safely move and handle 50+ pounds; Must be able to tolerate Rabies prophylaxis (provided by employer).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving a forklift; experience driving a standard shift truck with a gooseneck trailer.
