Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI), a Government Contractor, has an immediateopportunity for aSharePoint Developerfor theKnowledge Managementdepartment of the Independent Enterprise Testing and Support Services (IETSS) contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT). This position will be part of the Test Management and Operations (TMO) Testing Process Quality Improvement (TPQI) Support team, which consists of Measurement and Metrics (MM), quality process management and process improvement, lessons learned, ChangeManagement, Knowledge Management, internal Quality Audit Program, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) planning. The TPQI team supports and works closely with the Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Testing Intake Assessment services teams, as well as the Test Center (TC) systems analysts, systems administrators, database administrators (DBAs), the VA project manager (PM), VA Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and other divisions and stakeholders. The preferred location for this position isremote tothe Tampa, FL area; however, candidatesin other areas of the United States will be considered.

TheSharePoint Developersupports theKnowledge Management(KM) team within the Testing Process Quality Improvement (TPQI) organization.SharePoint Developmentrequires close collaboration withother teams within TPQI, within TMO and TC, and our VA counterparts.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The positionsupports the developmentand continuous improvementofIETSSprocesses and workflows. The position alsoprovides internal support to the organization including, but not limited to, SharePoint web application development and support, web content management, standardization, and management of document repositories.

The job function and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • ServeasaSharePoint Administrator and Developer for the organization’s Intranetand documentmanagementsystem.
  • Create SharePoint lists and libraries incorporating data sources.
  • DevelopSharePointpages, sites, site collections, custom web parts,Power Apps-based canvas apps and list-based apps,andPower Automateworkflows.
  • Ensuresite content isaccurate andcontinually kept up to date.
  • Manage permissions across multiple site collections.
  • Working with VA,establishingand managing email distribution lists.
  • LeverageSharePoint business intelligence capabilities via dashboard reporting (Excel services, SQL reporting services, etc.).
  • Create andmaintainMicrosoftTeamsgroups, channels, permissions/user lists, and Teams-connected SharePoint sites.
  • Work across IETSS teams to manage andmaintaindocumentation repositories stored on Teams.
  • Work within the IETSS teams to create and update documentation forSharePoint-basedpages, sites, site collections, custom web parts,Power Apps-based canvas apps and list-based apps,andPower Automateworkflows.
  • Enforce VA clientSharePoint governance policies, business rules,standards,and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issuesencounteredbyend users.
  • Work with the TPQI team to update,facilitate, and deliver briefings and training sessions.
  • Conduct regularly scheduledweb contentaudits.
  • Collect and documentuser requirements, including gathering, analyzing,and summarizinginformation from stakeholdersand research. Develop solutions and prototypes to address these and future requirements.
  • Contribute to the Quality Process Management program.
  • Supportchange, control, and configurationmanagement(C3M) Program.
  • Create supporting documentation (process documents, process flows, technical specifications, work instructions, etc.).
  • Identify, document, review, and update IETSS programs and processes.
  • Contributeto the design and implementation of anIETSSorganization-wide comprehensivequality andprocessimprovementprogram.
  • Evaluatedefined program goals and targets toidentifygaps and makerecommendations for improvements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field.
  • Equivalent experience or industry certifications may substitute for formal education.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in SharePoint development.
  • Experience in Power Apps, Power Automate,and Microsoft Teams.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience with Teams groups, channels, and available features.
  • Must be able to simultaneously work on multiple projects, beaction-oriented, handle changing priorities with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines,and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to deliverhigh-qualitydocumentation with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Mustpossessexcellent interpersonal and communication skills,as this position works closely with ourgovernmentcustomer, and with IETSSteam members, whoare theprimary end users.
  • U.S. Citizenship isrequired. Selectedcandidatemust be able to successfully pass a thorough Government background investigation.
