Your responsibilities will primarily take place in an outpatient office context, where you'll engage with clients through various therapeutic modalities. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, their strengths, and available resources.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to client needs.
• Implement therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, facilitating personal growth and resilience in clients.
• Craft personalized treatment plans with clear goals and interventions, adjusting as necessary based on client progress.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless and coordinated care for clients.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes, enhancing clients’ therapeutic experiences and providing valuable community support.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment, ensuring client safety and effective management of urgent situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, utilizing our electronic health record systems.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. This may include those dealing with significant life transitions, trauma histories, anxiety disorders, or relationship conflicts. You'll interact with a diverse client base, committing to empower them through their healing journey and providing culturally-sensitive support that respects their unique backgrounds.

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, essential for effective client engagement.

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health or outpatient settings is required, candidates with experience in family therapy, crisis intervention, or working with specific demographics (e.g., children, veterans, couples) will be favored. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems is an advantage.
