At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives - a mission we've honed since 1859.

We're seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager to drive growth, strengthen broker and client partnerships, and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience across a defined territory. As a trusted liaison, you'll play a critical role in managing the full account lifecycle-from onboarding and renewals to ongoing relationship management-while proactively identifying opportunities to expand and retain business.

In this highly collaborative role, you'll partner closely with Sales, Underwriting, and internal teams to deliver value-driven solutions, resolve complex challenges, and elevate the overall client experience-all while contributing directly to the growth and success of our portfolio.

[Remote] - This position offers a remote work schedule that allows you to stay fully engaged with your team to provide outstanding, customer focused service during our core hours (8:30 AM-5:30 PM EST). Periodic office visits may be requested based on business needs.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with brokers and clients, serving as a trusted liaison across your assigned territory

  • Manage the licensing and appointment process for all producers while ensuring accurate and up-to-date broker/client information across systems, business plans, and compliance requirements

  • Own the end-to-end account management experience, including identifying growth opportunities, securing additional lines of coverage, and driving retention within your book of business

  • Lead the renewal process, partnering with Sales Executives on strategy, execution, and timely, accurate delivery of all renewal documentation

  • Proactively anticipate and respond to client and broker needs, delivering value-driven solutions and exceptional pre- and post-sale service, including resolving escalated issues

  • Provide account updates, insights, and solutions to leadership and project teams, identifying alternatives and driving effective problem resolution

  • Maintain a strong understanding of group insurance products, benefit offerings, and policy language to effectively support and educate clients and brokers

  • Travel as needed to build and strengthen relationships with brokers, consultants, and clients

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Billing, Eligibility, Claims, and Customer Service to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay,

Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

For eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed descriptions of these benefits, please refer to the link below.
