Job Description

Position Title: Support Engineer

Location: New Jersey, NJ

Hire Type: Full Time Only  

Salary: Good


Required Technical Skill Set

Perl and Shell Scripting. 

Java (J2EE, Struts, JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, JBoss Application Server) 

Knowledge of "C" and "Oracle Forms" will be an added advantage.


Must-Have

Perl and Shell Scripting. 

Java (J2EE, Struts, JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, JBoss Application Server) 

Good communication skills 

ITIL Knowledge


Good-to-Have

Knowledge of "C" language 

ITIL Certification 

Oracle Form Developer - OCA/OCP certified



Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Responsible for the overall health of application. This includes continuous improvement in SLA's through better monitoring, escalating bug fixes for correction and system tuning.

Responsible for the operational stability of the applications

Troubleshooting in production environment

Act as the Onsite Counterpart for the offshore team and support the applications during the EST hours
