Packing Specialist
Company: Country Lane Gazebos
Location: New Holland, PA
Country Lane Gazebos is hiring a Packing Specialist to join our production team in New Holland, PA. We build high-quality gazebos, pergolas, and pavilions that ship across the U.S. and internationally.
Be the Crucial Final Step in Our Process:
As a Packing Specialist, you are responsible for preparing completed kits for shipment. Your work ensures orders are accurate, secure, and protected from damage during delivery.
What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
Machine Wrapping:
Operate the wrapping machine to securely protect wood posts and beams.
Order Verification:
Count, measure, and check materials against order sheets to ensure accuracy before packing.
Strategic Stacking:
Load and arrange materials onto skids to keep them stable and protected during transit.
Quality Control:
Inspect parts while packing and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to your supervisor.
Final Preparation:
Finish skids with plywood, banding, and shrink wrap according to company standards and supervisor approval.
Maintain Workspace:
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Team Collaboration:
Assist with other production tasks as needed.
