Rapidly growing landscape company is seeking a skilled Landscape Foreman to join our dynamic team. Pay will depend on experience but in addition to competitive pay, we offer bonuses, health insurance benefits, paid holidays and matching 401(k) program. Pay depends on experience.
Job Description:
Primary responsibility is to oversee and manage all aspects of landscape construction projects. This includes reading plans, coordinating with clients, managing crews, ordering materials, maintaining inventory and ensuring timely completion of projects. Expertise in grading, plant selection and irrigation systems will be essential in delivering high-quality results. Effective communication and organization skills are crucial for scheduling crews and ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
  • Oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Communicate project updates and progress reports to clients and management.
Plan Reading:
  • Interpret landscape plans and blueprints accurately.
  • Make necessary adjustments to plans based on site conditions and client requirements.
Crew Management:
  • Supervise and lead teams of landscape crews.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure productivity.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
Material Management:
  • Order materials and supplies required for each project.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure adequate stock protocols.
  • Inspect materials for quality and compliance with project requirements.
Grading and Site Preparation:
  • Conduct site evaluations and assessments.
  • Perform grading and site preparation as needed.
