Landscape Irrigation Technician

Steve Hanson Landscaping is the largest boutique landscape company in Santa Barbara.
We build and maintain gardens that enhance life.
Our services include everything from landscape design and installation to patios and paths, walls and fences, ponds and water features, and much more.

We are currently searching for an experienced Landscape Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in building beautiful, custom outdoor spaces and are looking for a skilled, reliable, and knowledgeable irrigation technician.

This is a full-time role with benefits.

Work Location
Santa Barbara, CA and Montecito, CA
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential irrigation systems
  • Work with controllers, wiring, valves, and other system components
  • Program and troubleshoot irrigation systems
  • Read and interpret landscape and irrigation plans
  • Ensure efficient system performance and water management
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape irrigation
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, installation, and maintenance
  • Ability to read and follow plans
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
