The Site Group is seeking team members that want to be part of a professional landscape company installing AMAZING outdoor spaces and providing the highest level of service to our clients.

Join our CREW to play a critical role in creating show-stopping outdoor spaces!

BASIC FUNCTION:

  • The Foreman is responsible for job site supervision and leadership, assuring timely and accurate work completion
  • The Foreman is the person responsible for efficient job site work, both manual and mechanical, always seeking ways to improve work performance.
  • The Foreman assigns and directs daily work for his crew, and determines equipment operation assignments.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of two years in landscape design and installation is preferred.
  • Good supervisory skills are required.
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend design drawings and convey instructions in a clear manner to others.
  • A desire to perform HIGH QUALITY landscape work, and provide a high level of CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is required.
  • PHYSICAL requirements include sitting, standing, and walking, spending most work hours at job sites. This position requires manual dexterity of the hands, as well as normal body bending and twisting. Good eyesight is required, along with color distinguishing capability. Adequate hearing is required for safety purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Foreman is responsible for completing jobs in a timely, cost effective manner.
  • The Foreman is responsible for job site layout, shooting grades, determining utility conflicts, and safety compliance.
  • The Foreman is responsible for all safety barricading and fencing, and that safety precautions are in practice.
  • The Foreman assures that his crew has complete understanding of job requirements and expectations, including proper training.
  • The Foreman has responsibility to keep Project Manager informed of job progress, and any variances from job plan.
  • The Foreman is responsible for communicating with customers, as necessary.
  • Seek opportunities to “up sell” projects and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate additions / adjustments outside the quoted scope of work to Project Manager and/or assigned sales person.
  • Early arrival at the office is required for good communications and work preparation.

EDUCATION: No minimum requirement. A high school education is preferred.

LICENSING: Driver’s License required.
