Our Company

Cashman Nursery is a family-owned nursery, design and build landscape business based in the heart of Gallatin Valley with over 40 years' experience beautifying Southwest Montana. We offer our employees an environment that encourages their success; promotes a safety focused workplace; provides community classes and seminars; supports continual training and education and, as an Employer of Choice, our focus is on excellence in customer satisfaction.

Our customers vary from individuals buying seeds, flowers and shrubs to residential and commercial landscape projects.

Seasonal work typically begins in early April and ends in early November. Cashman Nursery employs approximately 25 full time seasonal workers with many working with Cashman's for 10 or more seasons.

We are looking for a Landscape Foreman to be part of our team for the 2025 season!

Compensation: $25 - $40 per hour depending on experience and initiative! Opportunity for overtime pay!

Job duties include:

  • Reading landscape plans and installing landscapes (includes but not limited to establishing grade, planting trees, installing edging and landscape fabric, placing mulch, and sod installation)
  • Organizing crews, teaching and leading landscape crews in installing landscapes
  • Operating heavy machinery (Skid steer, excavator, etc.)
  • Operating hand-held power tools (saws, welder, etc.)

* This position requires successful experience working in landscaping or related field; operate a Bobcat Skid Steer, successful supervising experience and familiarity, and knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees commonly used in southwest Montana.

Looking for individuals with:

  • Knowledge of plants and reading landscape plans (knowledge of plants that thrive in southwest Montana a bonus)
  • Experience working in field or related field
