This position offers a remote telehealth setting, enabling you to engage with clients from various backgrounds across Missouri. Working from home gives you flexibility while providing you with direct access to a supportive virtual team. You will utilize state-of-the-art telehealth technologies to conduct sessions, manage client records, and collaborate with colleagues effectively, ensuring holistic client care.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to identify client needs, which will inform the development of customized treatment plans.
• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed and provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to facilitate understanding of mental health issues and therapeutic processes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure well-rounded support for each client and comprehensive care planning.
• Maintain meticulous client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards while adhering to best practices concerning confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by keeping abreast of current research and advances in mental health counseling, attending workshops, and participating in supervision.

Your client base will include adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, with particular focus on underserved communities. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will apply your skills to foster resilience, promote well-being, and create an environment of trust and respect. You will address diverse needs, tailoring your approach to suit each client's unique cultural and personal context.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.
• Possession of an Independent LPC license issued by the state board of Missouri, allowing you to practice independently.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records, generating reports, and using relevant electronic health record systems such as EHRs.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Excellent communication abilities to articulate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing, with emphasis on empathy and active listening.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities based on professional knowledge and ethical guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services and interventions, particularly with diverse populations.
• A commitment to upholding confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Prior experience delivering telehealth services is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is preferred.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary settings with a focus on holistic client care.
