Landscape Management maintains the grounds in city parks, sports facilities, and rights-of-way, while promoting the highest quality of trained technicians and professionals in the fields of Turf Management, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Irrigation, Litter Management and Herbicide Application. Landscape Management Department works (4) - 10 hour shifts: Monday - Thursday 6a - 4p or Tuesday - Friday 6a - 4p Landscape Maintenance Worker Position Overview: This is manual work requiring physical strength in maintaining City grounds, parking facilities, parks, alleys, easements, and highways. Work requires skill in the operation of small to medium equipment, trucks, and farm tractors.

Work involves performing a wide variety of grounds and parking facility maintenance tasks. Work also involves the operation of small to medium sized tractors and mowers; scheduling or performing preventive maintenance and performing minor repairs. Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements: Some experience in grounds maintenance or construction work and some experience driving a truck or tractor, or mower; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Valid driver's license is required. A Class B CDL is desirable.
