Job description

MUST be bilingual English/Spanish
AS A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGER
You will create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You will oversee and support a crew, making sure they are transported to the different job sites and clocked in upon arrival.
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGERDUTIES INCLUDE
  • Visiting sites and perform site audits for crews.
  • Managing all activities involving maintenance services, including the coordination of all materials, people and equipment required to produce a quality job.
  • Communicating with Operations Manager to schedule upcoming work or site issues.
  • Leading new hire on-boarding and training program as well as continued training for current crewmembers.
  • Reviewing crews' weekly schedules, providing direction and goals to be accomplished
  • Providing hands on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
  • Leading weekly safety meetings and monitor safety record of crews and minimize accidents to personnel and equipment.
  • Instructing and supervise truck and equipment audits by foreman and crew
  • Responsibility for coordinating with Mechanic for proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for branch equipment.
  • Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures as issued by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
  • MUST be bilingual English/Spanish
  • 2+ years' experience in supervising landscape maintenance crews
  • Degree or certification in Landscape/Horticulture a plus
  • Knowledge of ornamental plants & turf
  • Knowledge of commercial landscaping tools/equipment
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Team orientation
  • Prepared to lead by example, roll up your sleeves, and do what it takes to get the job done

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • $20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, etc.
