The Branch Manager I plays a pivotal role in strategically overseeing branch operations, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations while driving performance excellence.

This position requires strong leadership to enhance team recruitment, retention and development, fostering a culture of high motivation and continuous improvement. The Branch Manager will proactively engage with the community and staff to elevate service delivery across all banking channels, including mobile and online platforms. They are responsible for conducting comprehensive employee evaluations, facilitating personalized development plans, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience and operational efficiency.

The duties and responsibilities of a Branch Manager I include, but are not limited to:

Leadership & Performance Excellence

  • Driving team performance by strategically aligning branch operations with organizational goals to exceed performance targets and enhance operational efficiency
  • Fostering a high-performance culture rooted in member satisfaction and service excellence, leveraging advanced metrics to monitor outcomes and implement continuous improvements.
  • Actively identifying staffing needs and executing strategic workforce planning to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Inspiring teamwork and upholding high service standards through effective huddles, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing departmental enhancements.
  • Monitoring workflows and operational procedures to ensure a smooth, efficient service delivery across the branch and member engagement center.

Member Engagement & Experience

  • Fostering deep connections with members and stakeholders, leading initiatives that deliver impactful results.
  • Championing special projects and committees with an emphasis on strategic outcomes, ensuring timely and accurate performance evaluations that drive team accountability.
  • Proactively navigating member interactions, skillfully resolving conflicts to enhance the overall member experience, and elevating responsiveness across all service channels.
  • Partnering with Business Development to promote community engagement and sustainable growth.

Innovative Development & Strategic Growth

  • Taking proactive ownership of personal and team development, championing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Providing targeted coaching and resources to elevate staff performance and knowledge assessment scores, while ensuring the team is well-informed on evolving policies, compliance requirements, and industry trends. 
  • Demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills to navigate an ever-changing landscape effectively. 
  • Maintaining acceptable knowledge assessment scores.

Risk Management

  • Demonstrating comprehensive expertise in security protocols, compliance frameworks, and sophisticated risk mitigation strategies.
  • Enforcing a rigorous adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies, implementing robust safeguards to protect against fraudulent activities.
  • Leading regular training and audits, ensuring accountability and operational integrity, while documenting processes to recognize team achievements and maintain high standards of excellence.
  • Enhancing expertise by actively pursuing development opportunities, including but not limited to, attending conferences, acquiring certifications, completing learning courses internally and through other relevant platforms, or engaging in both internal and external leadership programs.

REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO OTHER BRANCH LOCATIONS TO ASSIST WHEN NEEDED

SATURDAY HOURS ARE REQUIRED
