Our client is a premier full-service landscaping and outdoor maintenance provider based in Sterling Heights, Michigan. With over four decades of industry experience in the Metro Detroit area, this established organization prides itself on a reputation for quality, customer satisfaction, and year-round operational stability. They offer a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where dedicated professionals can thrive within a structured and supportive team.


This is a unique, hybrid growth opportunity for someone with landscaping experience who is looking to step into operations management. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will split your time between hands-on field support and office administration.


Responsibilities

  • Spend a portion of the day in the field alongside the Operations Manager and crews, assisting with hands-on field work and daily operations as needed.
  • Work in the office for the remainder of the day to support administrative tasks such as drafting bids, writing proposals, and managing crew schedules.
  • Execute year-round leadership duties, including active participation in winter operations and snow plowing management during the off-season.


Requirements

  • Prior industry experience in landscaping, outdoor maintenance, or a similar field.
  • A strong willingness to learn the operational and business side of landscaping, including sales and budgeting.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in snow plowing and winter operations is required.
