Position Overview:
Are you an experienced landscaping professional who enjoys leading by example?
The Budd Group is seeking a Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily landscape maintenance operations while leading a small crew to deliver exceptional results. In this role, you'll combine hands-on landscaping work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Locations: Charlotte, NC and Greenville (Piedmont), SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $25-$28 per hour
What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise a landscape crew on commercial properties
  • Coordinate daily job assignments and ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Load, inspect, and maintain equipment and tools each day
  • Perform mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance
  • Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation and safe work practices
  • Monitor job quality and address issues before leaving each site
  • Identify turf, plant, irrigation, or equipment concerns and communicate them appropriately
  • Complete daily reports, time records, and material tracking
  • Promote a positive, safety-first work environment
  • Assist with seasonal services, including snow removal when applicable
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3 years of professional landscaping experience
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a crew is preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to organize daily work and prioritize tasks
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to safely lift at least 35 pounds throughout the workday
