Hardscape Foreman Summary:
This role involves performing various hardscaping tasks, including installing sidewalks, patios, retaining walls, grading, and other landscaping duties. The ideal candidate should have experience in hardscaping, outdoor construction, low-voltage lighting, general landscape installation, and operating outdoor equipment.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Train and manage crews of 2 to 3 team members, providing instruction on proper techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures while leading hardscape installation projects.
  • Operate equipment including Bobcat and mini excavator
  • Read and understand elevations and scaled construction drawings
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide excellent customer service, and professionally manage multiple projects.
  • Manage daily work schedules, oversee job site inspections, and provide expert recommendations for tree care and landscaping tasks.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and industry standards are followed on job sites.
  • Track project progress, resolve issues, ensure timely completion, and maintain detailed records of work, materials, and crew hours.

Qualifications:
  • Valid license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading a team of landscaping professionals.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in hardscaping, landscaping or a related field.
  • Knowledge of hardscape installation to include sidewalks, patios, retaining walls.
  • Ability to operate equipment, power tools, and other landscaping tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and proper equipment use.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to wear necessary PPE
  • Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Proficiency in operating and servicing all required tools and equipment
  • Clean driver's license
  • Attention and concentration for extended periods due to the nature of the work

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver weights of 10+ pounds frequently and up to 50+ pounds occasionally.
  • Gripping, climbing, balancing, pulling, and pushing
