Strathmore is Canada’s largest national commercial landscaping and snow removal company.

For almost 60 years, we have been providing exceptional landscaping, tree care and commercial snow removal services to businesses, universities, governments, shopping centers and municipal areas.

Summary

The crew leader manages his team to perform landscaping activities manually or using tools according to Strathmore standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small crew of 2-3 individuals on our clients’ sites
  • Plant flowers & shrubs
  • Redefining flower beds and laying mulch & soil
  • Weeding flower beds manually or by applying vinegar
  • Proficient in using line trimmer, hedge trimmer and leaf blower
  • Driver the crew to the different sites safely
  • Inspect the vehicle and equipment on a daily basis
  • Enter work orders, inspection information and crew members hours on a daily basis.
  • Other related duties and tasks


For a perfect match

  • 2 years of industry experience
  • A college diploma or DEC in horticulture, landscaping or a related field (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of landscaping and horticulture
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stress
  • Competent with computers and phone apps
  • Must have a valid provincial driver’s license with a good driving record
