Salary Range: $70K-$95K, depending on experience.
Employment: Full Time

Job Description
SPVV Landscape Architects seeks a full-time experienced landscape architect with eight or more years of experience in professional design, project management, and construction administration. As a team member, you will contribute ideas, solutions, and deliverables in a collaborative team environment, including meeting with project managers and clients, and managing projects of varied scale and complexity. You will assist or lead drawing production from conceptual design through construction document phases and project close-out. You will also contribute to project pursuit and work with our marketing team, responding to RFQs and SOQs.
To thrive in this position, you will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's (BLA) or master's (MLA) degree from an accredited landscape architecture university program.
Current license to practice Landscape Architecture. We are happy to consider your application if you are in the process of taking the Landscape Architectural Registration Exam (LARE).
Minimum 8 years' experience in a landscape architectural or allied professional firm.
Strong landscape architectural design skills and capable of preparing construction document packages at various scales, including site, planting, materials plans, irrigation, low voltage lighting, construction detailing, and assisting in the preparation of specifications and bid packages.
Technical skills in developing construction packages with attention to detail and emphasis on QAQC.
Project management experience through all project phases, including coordinating with clients, design teams, and contractors, and performing construction administration.
Experience with multiple project delivery methods and alternative methods like GCCM and design-build is helpful, but not required.
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Land F/X, along with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required. Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, and other industry software is a plus. You must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent time management, organizational, and design skills (hand drawing as well as computer graphics).
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, anticipate the needs of clients and projects, communicate effectively orally and in writing, work independently and on a team, and have a solid portfolio demonstrating their abilities.
Work Location: This is not a remote position. The majority of SPVV's work is in the Spokane region, with our office located in Northwest Spokane. This position requires employees to live within a commutable distance of the Spokane area.
