Palm Beach Delivers is an independent Delivery Service Partner (DSP) serving Amazon Prime throughout Palm Beach County. We are seeking responsible, reliable and energetic Delivery Drivers / Delivery Associates (DAs) who want to be a part of our customer focused, employee-centric company, with an opportunity to become permanent FT, based on your performance.
Job Description
The ideal candidate considers themselves hardworking, energetic, punctual, customer service savvy, all wrapped up in a positive attitude! We ask every qualified candidate "CAN YOU HANDLE IT?".
Being a delivery driver requires someone who knows how to hustle. It is an incredibly physical, fast paced job, delivering 200-300+ packages daily, in any weather condition: hot sun or hurricane-like thunderstorms. It requires a boot camp / sports team mentality, with enough focus and determination to maintain a steady pace, while delivering our 'customer excellence' commitment. It's the perfect job for someone who has performed outdoor labor, delivery, valet attendant, landscaping, waiter or someone who understands urgency and wants an independent, fast-paced job on the road.
Opportunity to work 3-4 days / 30-40 hour work week with opportunity for OT and incentives.
No experience necessary, but those who portray themselves as leaders will have the best opportunity to become one, and possibly qualify for a permanent FT position! You are the primary person who will define how far you will grow with our company.
Qualifications for a delivery driver:
  • Physically fit candidates must be (at least) 21 years of age
  • a valid driver's license in good standing (CDL not req'd)
  • comfortable driving a cargo van or larger and able to lift (up to) 50lb. packages.
  • Must have good communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in delivery driving not necessary, but beneficial
  • Eligible to work in the US
    Responsibilities of a delivery driver:
  • Load van with containers / packages at start of shift
  • Conduct a thorough pre- and post- vehicle inspection
  • Deliver products and *smiles* to customers in a timely manner
  • On the road (OTR) up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes w/in a 50 mile radius
  • Handle physical work eg. climb in/out van, use of stairs, lift containers w/o issue
  • Perform responsibilities during inclement weather conditions
  • Maintain van and fuel up vehicle at EOS
  • Return and document accordingly any undeliverable packages
  • Be competent and efficient on GPS device and be able to troubleshoot delivery issues
  • Be open to assisting in other capacities, as needed
  • Follow designated safety protocol and procedures
  • Willing to assist co-workers in a supportive way

We provide paid training, cargo delivery vans, uniforms, GPS devices, all the tools and technology to make delivering efficient and safe, continued daily support, and driver safety monitoring for all employees!
