Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Design Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Our company prides itself on delivering high-quality landscape designs and installations. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about plants and outdoor design. In this role, you will assist our design team, manage plant materials, and contribute to various tasks in our tree, shrub, and perennial department.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design team throughout the landscape design and installation process.
  • Participate in design scheduling meetings.
  • Conduct weekly walks to familiarize yourself with current plant inventory and locations.
  • Prepare, organize, and tag plant material for scheduled landscaping jobs, ensuring the highest quality.
  • Assist landscape crews in locating plant material on the day of installation.
  • Contribute to the trees, shrubs, and perennials department with tasks such as unloading trucks and caring for plants.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of plants and plant maintenance or a keen interest in learning about plants.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
