Role Description

This is a very unique, full-time, on-site position for a Senior Landscape Architect/Land Planner/Zoning Coordinator located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role involves site design for new communities, amenities, detailed hardscape & landscape plans, tree plans, overseeing zoning coordination, presentation graphics, and collaborating with our internal engineering team to expedite permitting of visually appealing projects that win awards. The professional will also work directly with elected officials, municipal staff, and community stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and addressing community concerns.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Landscape Architecture and Land Planning
  • Must have an engaging personality that works well with internal teams and third-party consultants
  • Experience in Preparing Planting Plans, Tree Plans, Grading, and Hardscape design & details
  • Deep understanding of Feasibility Analysis and Creative presentation graphics
  • Knowledge of zoning regulations and processes, site planning, and permitting processes
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) and other planning tools
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in landscape design or planning
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Professional licensure in Landscape Architecture is preferred but not required
