CDL A - LARGER WRECKER OPERATOR/LANDOLL/LOWBOY

Reports to: Operations Manager. Chesapeake, VA.

Job Description: Under the supervision of the wrecker division Operations Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for handling daily dispatched wrecker calls. This highly motivated, self-sufficient operator is expected to be a "walking example" of the organized professional operation that TEI strives to be. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptive to changing environments, schedules, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

Class A CDL license endorsement

Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license

No automatic restrictions

Must have or be able to obtain TWIC and military base access

Lowboy/Landoll Ops must have equipment moving and flatbed experience

Have medical examiners certification

Clean MVR

Must have at least 3 years' experience as a wrecker operator of heavy duty rollback trucks

Must be fluent in the English language

Must have and keep current a USA issued driver's license

Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills

Have the ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members

Clean, manage, and maintain tools and vehicles which are assigned

Perform duties during regular working hours and when circumstances arise, additional duty time required to complete a dispatched call or task required by manager

Have a willingness to travel out of the area, and sometimes out of town, at any time of the day or day of the week as necessary

Be receptive to on and off-site training with exceptional results

Must be willing to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties

Must pass a criminal history check

Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings
