A Landoll Driver operates a specialized Landoll trailer, which is a type of hydraulic traveling axle trailer used for hauling heavy equipment, oversized loads, and vehicles. Their responsibilities include loading, securing, transporting, and unloading various types of freight safely and efficiently. Landoll Drivers must have a commercial driver's license (CDL), experience with heavy haul operations, and knowledge of securement techniques. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to safety regulations, and the ability to navigate different road conditions. Many Landoll Drivers work for transportation companies, equipment rental businesses, or logistics providers.

What does a Landoll driver do?

A typical day for a Landoll Driver involves inspecting and securing loads, planning routes for the safe transport of heavy machinery or equipment, and coordinating closely with site managers and dispatchers. Drivers spend significant time on the road, but also handle loading and unloading tasks using specialized equipment. Job sites may vary daily, often requiring adaptability to different work environments and schedules. Communication is key, as Landoll Drivers must stay in regular contact with their team to report progress, address challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction.
