Description
Multi-Site Surveillance & Incident Response Corporate Office - Las Vegas, NV
If you're a security professional who thrives on situational awareness, stays sharp across a long shift, and takes ownership when something doesn't look right - this role was built for you. Swickard Automotive Group is seeking a SOC Operator to serve as the eyes and ears of our growing dealership network from our corporate office in Las Vegas. This isn't a post-and-patrol job. It's a real operations role with visibility across the entire organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems across Swickard's multi-state dealership network in real time
  • Serve as the first line of detection and response for security incidents - assess, act, and escalate with confidence
  • Maintain clear, accurate incident reports, activity logs, and shift handoff documentation
  • Coordinate directly with dealership management, on-site personnel, and emergency services during active events
  • Identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and anomalies through ongoing surveillance and threat assessment
  • Support security audits, risk assessments, and SOC procedure development
  • Partner with IT, HR, and operations to enforce security standards across all locations
  • As we grow, this role will evolve - we'll need someone comfortable adapting to new tools, locations, and responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) - kindness, integrity, self-awareness, and work ethic matter here because this role requires trust, discretion, and daily collaboration with teams across the company
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in security, criminal justice, or a related field is a plus
  • Experience: Prior experience in security operations, dispatch, surveillance monitoring, or a similar environment preferred
    • Proficiency with CCTV platforms, access control systems, and security monitoring software
    • Ability to track and manage multiple locations and feeds simultaneously without losing focus
    • Strong written communication - your reports need to be clear, accurate, and useful to people who weren't in the room
    • Cool-headed decision-making when things move fast
    • Disciplined documentation habits and high attention to detail
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain focus and alertness through extended monitoring shifts, including overnight and weekend rotations
  • Sustained screen work across multiple displays for the duration of a shift
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively when an incident requires immediate action

Benefits of Working at Swickard:
  • Career Path - This role has a clear runway. Strong SOC Operators grow into senior security roles, multi-site security management, and broader operations leadership within a rapidly expanding organization
  • Real Visibility - You'll have eyes across an entire multi-state dealership network, not just one building. The scope here is bigger than most single-site security roles
  • Competitive Compensation - Competitive salary and shift considerations
  • 401(k) - Plan for your future with company retirement benefits
  • Paid Time Off - Recharge and take the time you need
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Full coverage for you and your family
  • Life & Disability Insurance - Peace of mind when it matters most
  • Pet Insurance - Because your whole family deserves coverage
  • Employee Mental Health & Wellness Program - We take care of the whole person, not just the employee
  • We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity and inclusion at our company
