Be the Legacy is an internship program and a valuable opportunity for individuals to gain practical work experience in the AEC field. Offering students, the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations, providing a bridge between academic learning and professional practice. Our hands-on learning experience will develop essential skills, build a professional network, and provide insights into your chosen career path. Come intern with us at our Omaha location! Many of our interns enjoy their time at Lamp Rynearson so much they become full-time employees.


What you need:
* Current student at an accredited college or university in a civil, environmental, or construction engineering program.
* Ability to work with a team of unique personalities and professional styles.
* Ability to perform self-motivated work, as well as collaborate and contribute to a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.


You bring to the team:
* Pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related field.
* Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
* Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
* Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Passion for public works projects.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
