As a Project Manager, you will manage residential master planning and land development projects from initial concept through entitlement and construction completion. Responsibilities include coordinating conceptual design plans, rezoning plans, site plans, illustrative materials, rendered graphics, and related technical drawings. This role emphasizes project coordination, scheduling, client communication, and quality control to ensure project goals, schedules, and client expectations are met. The Project Manager will work closely with internal planning, landscape architecture, and engineering teams, as well as with our clients to advance master planned projects. This individual will help foster a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables for residential master planning and land development projects.
  • Coordinate and produce high-quality design in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suites (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other design platforms.
  • Work directly with clients to advance master plans/development drawings, develop site plans, manage the entitlement processes, and implement improvements.
  • Manage entitlement processes and support rezoning and site plan approvals in compliance with local ordinances.
  • Perform Quality Control / Quality Assurance (QA/QC) reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project and client standards.
  • Track project progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain schedules and client expectations.
  • Prepare and participate in client meetings and presentations related to residential development projects.
  • Effectively and professionally interact with clients, approval authorities, governmental officials, and the public.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited Landscape Architectural program preferred.
  • Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a professional Landscape Architect/Designer in a land development office setting preferred.
  • Experience and background with a diverse and dynamic portfolio of projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, with ability to adjust to project priorities and multiple clients.
  • The ability to manage deadlines and ensure compliance with the local, state and federal requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong freehand illustrations and rendering skills, with demonstrated graphics skills that are expressive in both sketch and finished formats.
  • Experience working with local codes, ordinances and public agency standards related to land development design and related entitlement processes.
  • Ability to effectively understand and design projects including rezonings, site plans, and landscape plans in accordance with municipal codes and ordinances.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
