Job description

Civil Engineer Mid-Level – Land Development

We are looking for an individual with 4+ years of experience, depending on area of expertise in land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design

Responsibilities Include:

  • Grade sites and design of post-construction stormwater management systems.
  • In-Depth use of Civil 3D to prepare alignments, surfaces, cut profiles, and generate contours.
  • Assist the Senior Engineer in procuring municipal Land Development and NPDES approvals, including research regulations and attending agency meetings.
  • Coordinate with project team across multiple offices on design, permitting and construction components.
  • Prepare technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.
  • Research permit requirements and local regulations
  • Provide support and assist Sr team members.

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in utility design and/or land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • BSCE
  • EIT Certification is preferred. PE is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
