Job Overview
Join Komatsu's dynamic Longview Operations team in Texas as an Oven/Lam Operator I. As an Oven/Lam Operator, you will be the backbone of our heat treating operations. You will ensure the effective and safe operation of oven and lamination equipment, playing a crucial role in maintaining product quality and production efficiency. Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work and be an advocate for safety.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and area.
  • Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the oven operator position.
  • Have a basic understanding of the VPO equipment, bake-out oven, and a basic knowledge of the structures processed in this area.
  • Able to perform basic setup and operation of the VPO and oven equipment with little or no supervision.
  • Able to stack lams with supervision.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with data entry.
  • Two years of experience or equivalent knowledge of Oven/Lam Operator duties preferred.
  • Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the Oven/Lam Operator position.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Must successfully pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol testing, including hair follicle screening.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
