Summary: Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary.

Position Details:

  • Status: PRN, Exempt: No
  • Shift Hours: Variable
  • Shift: Shift 4, Varies - days and evenings, open until 8pm
  • Weekend Work: Occasional
  • On Call: No

Radiology Technologist - Outpatient Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
  • Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
  • Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
  • Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.
  • Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• AART (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months

• Radiology – State of Florida

• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
