Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis.

Air Liquide is hiring a Laboratory Technician I in our Austin, TX or Taylor, TX location. For internal candidates, the specific level and salary range for this position will be commensurate with the successful candidate's current level

Our Laboratory Technicians are responsible for running samples on a daily basis using ICP-MS, classical wet lab analyses, GC-MS, and particle counters. The work isperformed in an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic environment on a safety-oriented team passionate about providing quality data to our customers in a timely manner. In addition to sample analysis duties, this individual will be responsible for performing tasks such as: sample login and tracking, material and kit handling, proper disposal of hazardous waste, reviewing data, and reporting results to the customer.

  • Supporting the lab teamthrough labware washing

  • Transporting samples between labs

  • Entering test results into data management systems timely and accurately

  • Filling bottle kits

  • Following SOP's

  • Lab cleaning and organization

  • Sample preparation

  • Sample login and management using LIMS

  • Analysis of semiconductor grade chemicals for trace impurities or assay

  • Routine Waste disposal

  • Preparation of high quality standards for instrument calibration

  • Standardization of titrants

  • Calibration of analytical instruments

  • Commitment to the safe handlingof chemicals

  • Collaborating toput together results, review data quality, and report results to customers

  • Submit quality and safety near misses

  • Stay up to date on all lab trainings

  • Contribute to the continuous improvementof safety and quality

  • Attend all Safety Meetings

  • Analyze and gain insightsfrom analytical data

  • HS Diploma and 5 years of Lab Experience OR Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 3 years of Experience OR Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 0 years of Experiences
